OVERVIEW
The Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services appointed Shri Milroy Gomes as an IT Support Engineer under the Goa Chief Minister’s Apprenticeship Policy. During his training at the Fire Force Headquarters, Panaji, he developed a mobile app called “AGNI SANDES”.
This app enhances incident call dispatch and tracking, improving efficiency and response times. This initiative aligns with the department’s goal of modernizing public services through technology.
OBJECTIVE OF THE APPLICATION
The mobile application is designed to:
Enhance Communication: Enable real-time information of incident details via SMS to the Officers, DMA authorities, Press, and other stakeholders.
Improve Monitoring: Facilitate alerts and reporting of incident resolution status.
FEATURES OF THE APPLICATION
The application includes:
- Incident Logging: Immediate entry of incident details.
- Automated SMS Dispatch: Instant notification to concerned personnel based on predefined escalation protocols.
- Incident Monitoring Dashboard: Centralized tracking of ongoing incidents with status updates on Whats App.
Data Analytics: Generation of Statistics.
ABOUT THE MOBILE APP
The AGNI SANDES mobile application is a major step towards modernizing incident management and enhancing Apprenticeship Schemes. Its adoption will improve operational efficiency across DMA & other stakeholder cells.
